European Tower Shoot

Tower Shoot Info

•The hunt starts with a safety meeting in the Ol Barn after signups.

•Blinds are located around the tower. 

 2 shooters per blind. 16 blinds.

•A bell is rung and the “round” begins.

 1 released at a time, hunter shoot birds,

 dogs retrieve.

•Pace is determined by wind.

•Bell rings, “Rotate!”

•Shooters rotate clockwise to next blind. 

•Please pick up shells and drop in bucket

•Clean Birds will be available after the hunt based on number shot.

•Let us know if you’d like to take one home to mount.

RULES

  • Glasses and orange clothing must be worn
  • No 3 inch shells allowed.
  • Shells must be 6 shot or higher for safety.
  • Bring Extra trap/skeet shells as we will start with trap/skeet shoot to get warmed up.
  • When not shooting, muzzles must be pointed in a safe direction with the safety on and finger off the trigger
  • If unsure of whether to shoot at a bird, do not shoot
  • NO LOW BIRDS
  • Do not leave your shooting station for any reason during a round
  • Only rotate stations at the sound of the bell
